For our development and research meeting this morning the library team led everyone in a Google Cardboard construction project!

This cheap and cheerful virtual reality headset was developed by two French Googlers in their “20% time” and might be a good option for educators hoping to incorporate VR into their classrooms in a scalable way.

Construction took us a bit longer than anticipated, so we’ll be leading the D&R next week to finish construction and go over apps, but it was a fun activity that taught us a lot about potential use cases for Google Cardboard.
